About Our Osteopaths
All our osteopaths have been fully trained in Victorian universities and are registered with the Osteopathic Registration Board of Victoria.
Osteopathy comprises a five year sequence of study; a three year Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Science, followed by a two years Masters program with a research component.
Our osteopaths are also members of representative associations such as the Australian Osteopathic Association. These associations make best practice recommendations for osteopaths, as well as setting fee guidelines.
At Hawthorn Osteopathy, we are committed to the ongoing education and development of our staff. Please ask our osteopaths what short courses (in dry needling, for example) they have completed or are currently undertaking.
